Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Accounts Assistant and Computer Operator to join our team at the Chennai location. This is a full-time position exclusively for candidates with experience ranging from 1 to 3 years. The role demands precision and the ability to work efficiently with financial data while supporting the hospital's operational needs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis is essential for the role.
  • Experience with QuickBooks for managing accounting records is required.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ERP for seamless integration and information processing is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage accounts receivable effectively, ensuring the timely collection of payments.
  • Experience in bank reconciliation to ensure accurate reflection of transactions.
  • Familiarity with Xero accounting software for handling various accounting tasks.
  • Competence in preparing financial reports and summarizing current financial status.
  • Expertise in accounts payable management (Mandatory skill) is a critical requirement for this role.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily financial transactions including verifying, classifying, and recording data.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming payments against invoices.
  • Handle data entry tasks pertaining to the accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports, maintaining accuracy.
  • Reconcile bank statements to reflect accurate account information.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
  • Maintain organized financial records and perform regular audits.
  • Support management in routine accounts-based inquiries and data analysis activities.
