JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Division Manager to assist with a short-term language identification project. The role involves evaluating content against specific guidelines and recording accurate results. This is a one-day project that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within a set deadline. See below for more details, including pay rate.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Regular and prompt communication in EnglishReview video links providedIdentify whether each video contains the target languageManage time effectively to complete work within the deadlineCommunicate any issues or uncertainties to the project leadEnsure all assigned tasks are completed in fullUphold confidentiality and professionalism while handling project materials
 REQUIREMENTS

- Full proficiency in the Mizo (Lushai) language (ISO: lus)
- Professional work experience in Linguistics, Translation, Transcription or localization, strongly preferred
- Proficiency in computer and internet skills
- Competency on both MAC and PC platforms, Microsoft Applications, and G Suite
- Strong grammar, orthography, and punctuation skills; a proficiency test will be required
- Responsive with timely email access
- Effective web search skills
- Ability to onboard within two weeks
- Preferred, experience using Upwork
