Role Summary

QA engineer responsible for writing testcases for business requirements for automation and manual testing. Develop and maintain test automation for generative AI systems. Work includes validating prompt outputs, testing APIs, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Write test cases for user stories
  • Contribute to test strategy and test planning
  • Generate test reports
  • Write and maintain automated tests using Python (pytest, unit test)
  • Design validation checks for prompt workflows, LLM outputs, and agent behaviour
  • Test REST APIs and perform input/output validation
  • Implement schema validation and type enforcement using pydantic
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on release testing and defect tracking
  • Write test cases and document execution results

Must-Have Skills:

  • Analysing business requirements and writing test cases
  • Python with pytest and unittest
  • API testing (manual and automated)
  • Pydantic for data validation
  • Git and version control workflows
  • CI/CD integration with Azure DevOps or similar
  • Basic Azure experience (e.g., services deployment, monitoring)
  • Clear written and verbal communication

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with Jira
  • Familiarity with LLMs, prompt testing, or RAG pipelines
  • FastAPI exposure
  • JSON schema testing or structured prompt validation
  • Test automation for model evaluation workflows
