Job Title:

Railway Structure Design Engineer

Location:

Mumbai, Maharashtra

Experience:

5–8 years

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze structural components for railway infrastructure including bridges, viaducts, and stations.
  • Prepare general arrangement drawings, reinforcement detailing, and design calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Railway Standards (IRS), IS Codes, IRC, and relevant international standards.
  • Use structural design software such as STAAD Pro, MIDAS Civil, and AutoCAD.
  • Coordinate with geotechnical, track alignment, and architectural teams.
  • Review shop drawings and provide technical support during construction.
  • Prepare design basis reports (DBR), BOQs, and technical specifications.
Requirements:
  • E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred).
  • 3–8 years of experience in structural design for railway/metro/infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in STAAD Pro, MIDAS Civil, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with IRS, IS, and IRC codes.
