We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will gain valuable, hands-on experience by supporting a wide range of HR functions. This internship is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to build a foundation for a career in human resources.
Key responsibilities
- Recruitment and sourcing:
- Post job openings on various job boards, social media platforms, and university career sites.
- Screen resumes and application forms to identify qualified candidates.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Onboarding and offboarding:
- Assist with preparing new hire paperwork and orientation materials.
- Support the new hire induction process to ensure a smooth transition.
- Help with exit interviews and offboarding documentation.
- HR administration and documentation:
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases (HRIS) with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in drafting official HR documents, such as offer letters and internal communications.
- Perform general administrative duties, such as filing and organizing HR documents.
- Employee relations and engagement:
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and team events.
- Respond to and help resolve employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Help gather feedback for analysis and improve employee satisfaction.
- Compliance and projects:
- Conduct research on HR-related topics and labor legislation.
- Assist with data collection and reporting for various HR projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates are completed a degree or a related field, possess strong communication and organizational skills, can maintain confidentiality, are proficient in Microsoft Office, and are eager to learn. Previous HR experience is a plus but not required.
