Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented WMS Specialist to oversee and optimize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) operations. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and enhancing the WMS to ensure efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and seamless integration with other supply chain systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • WMS Configuration & Maintenance:
  • Configure WMS parameters, workflows, and rules to align with warehouse operations.
  • Regularly update and maintain the WMS to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
  • System Integration & Support:
  • Integrate WMS with other enterprise systems such as ERP, TMS, and order management systems.
  • Provide technical support to warehouse staff and other stakeholders regarding WMS functionalities.
  • Develop and execute data migration strategies during system upgrades or implementations.
  • Training & Documentation:
  • Create comprehensive user manuals, training materials, and conduct training sessions for warehouse personnel.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor WMS performance metrics and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze data to optimize inventory levels, order fulfillment processes, and overall warehouse efficiency.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:
  • Ensure WMS operations comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Stay updated with the latest WMS technologies and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in WMS software (e.g., JDA, Oracle, SAP EWM, Manhattan).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
  • Experience with system integration and data migration.
  • Familiarity with barcode/RFID technologies and mobile data collection devices.
