About the Opportunity

A finance and regulatory compliance function operating in the professional services / corporate finance sector, supporting statutory and tax obligations for business entities across India. We deliver reliable end-to-end tax compliance, filing and reconciliation services that enable business continuity and regulatory adherence.

We are seeking a Tax Compliance Executive to join our on-site Lower Parel, Mumbai team to manage statutory tax filings, reconciliations and compliance workflows.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation) and manage e-way bill compliance on a timely basis.
  • Handle TDS computations, quarterly TDS return filings and maintain TRACES reconciliations and certificates.
  • Coordinate Income Tax compliance activities including TDS, advance tax, and support preparation of income tax returns and e‑filing.
  • Perform monthly tax reconciliations between accounting ledgers and tax filings; identify and resolve mismatches with vendors and customers.
  • Support statutory audits and tax assessments by preparing schedules, maintaining documentation and responding to information requests.
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to implement process improvements, ensure timely document flow and maintain compliance trackers.

Qualifications
  • Graduate in Commerce/Accounting or equivalent; part-qualified CA/ICWA or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience in Indian indirect and direct tax compliance, ideally within a shared services or corporate finance environment.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site at Lower Parel, Mumbai and manage month-end and statutory timelines.
