Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in civil engineering and structural design, with a strong proficiency in various design software. This role involves collaborating with project managers and engineers to deliver innovative design solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of RCC & Steel structural design.
  • Develop and produce detailed structural designs using AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.
  • Conduct project scheduling and manage timelines to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and geotechnical engineering assessments to support design decisions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate system designs effectively.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and drafting of design plans.
  • Utilize GIS for site analysis and data management related to projects.
  • Engage in project engineering tasks, ensuring that all designs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers and interns in drafting techniques and project management practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Proven experience in structural design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in construction projects.
  • Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D is essential.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools for effective scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Strong mathematical skills for calculations related to structural integrity and design efficiency.
  • Excellent technical writing abilities for clear communication of complex concepts.
  • Experience with system design methodologies and drafting standards is highly desirable.
