Role: Consultant SAP PP-VC

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in SAP PP with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in SAP PP-VC (Variant Configuration)

Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain SAP PP-VC models as per business needs.
  • Convert complex product requirements into configuration models using characteristics, classes, dependencies, and rules.
  • Ensure smooth integration with SAP SD, MM, and PP modules.
  • Manage product changes, version control, and variant-specific requirements.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing; resolve defects.
  • Provide user support, functional training, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of SAP PP experience and minimum 1 year of hands-on SAP PP-VC experience.
  • Strong knowledge of characteristics, dependencies, super BOMs, and super routing in SAP PP-VC.
  • Practical knowledge of pricing procedures, variant pricing, and constraints.
  • Integration experience with SD, MM, and PP modules.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing/engineering processes.
  • Experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Migration project experience (ECC to S/4HANA).
  • SAP PP-VC certification (advantage).
  • Exposure to CPQ tools (plus).
