Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP PP & QM Functional Expert to help drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing and quality management operations. You will play a key role in designing, optimizing, and supporting SAP solutions related to Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM), working at the intersection of technology and business to enhance operational efficiency, system reliability, and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

You will lead the design and configuration of SAP PP & QM modules to support evolving business requirements, with a focus on delivering robust and scalable solutions. This includes:

  • Designing and configuring new functionalities in SAP PP & QM to meet business needs
  • Creating functional specifications and maintaining clear process documentation
  • Conducting system testing and guiding user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Collaborating with SAP Basis and technical teams for system performance and integration

Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement

Acting as a trusted partner to the business, you will translate operational challenges into SAP solutions that support manufacturing and quality goals. This includes:

  • Working closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
  • Supporting project planning and contributing to project execution
  • Staying current with SAP best practices and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting integration with tools such as PLM, Galileo, and MES, and leveraging variant configuration capabilities

Support, Training & Operations

You will ensure reliable system usage and empower users through effective support and knowledge transfer. This includes:

  • Providing ongoing troubleshooting and resolution of issues, including ServiceNow ticket handling
  • Delivering training to end-users to ensure confident use of SAP PP & QM features
  • Ensuring documentation and knowledge sharing across teams for long-term support
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP PP & QM configuration and implementation.
  • 3+ years experience in Production tools like Galileo, MES or PLM is a plus
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management principles and also having variant configurator understanding.
  • Proficiency in SAP configuration, master data setup, and integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • SAP certification in PP and/or QM is a plus but not mandatory.
