Role Overview

We're looking for a
Research & Strategy Intern
who loves connecting ideas, data, and people.

You'll deep-dive into
global grassroots systems
, benchmark the best academies and federations, and help shape
8lete's strategic direction
for product, partnerships, and growth.

If you're curious, analytical, and passionate about the future of sports + technology, this is your chance to work closely with our leadership team and contribute directly to decision-making at 8lete.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct
    competitive and ecosystem research
    on football academies, sports-tech startups, and national development programs.
  • Identify
    global best practices
    in talent development, retention models, sponsorship frameworks, and AI usage in sports.
  • Support creation of
    strategic decks and insight reports
    for partnerships, investor outreach, and product planning.
  • Analyze
    club data and player development trends
    to inform roadmap priorities.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to
    translate insights into action
    (features, campaigns, or storytelling).
  • Stay updated on sports governance, AI innovation, and grassroots impact metrics worldwide.

Ideal Candidate

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in
    Sports Management, Business Strategy, Data Analytics, or related fields
    .
  • Strong research and analytical skills; experience using Notion, Google Sheets, or Miro is a plus.
  • Excellent written and visual communication - can turn insights into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Passionate about football, athlete development, and using technology for social impact.
  • Self-driven, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
