Role Overview

As the Director – Managed Security Services, you will lead Mitigata's MSS vertical. This is a

dual-function leadership role: Sales + Delivery. You'll drive topline growth through

cybersecurity offerings like SOC-as-a-Service, VAPT, Red Teaming, and Threat Intelligence,

while ensuring world-class technical delivery and OEM integration.

You will be a key face of Mitigata's security services—working with CISOs, regulators,

partners, and boardrooms to grow our MSS footprint across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Revenue

• Own P&L for the MSS vertical—drive top-line and margin expansion.
• Build and execute MSS go-to-market strategy for enterprise, mid-market, and BFSI clients.
• Work with sales, marketing, and channel teams to generate MSS pipeline and close large accounts.
• Identify upsell opportunities from audits, VAPT reports, and compliance gaps.

Technical Oversight

• Lead end-to-end delivery of:
• SOC 24/7 monitoring (on-prem/cloud/hybrid)
• Red Teaming & VAPT
• Threat hunting, forensics, and incident response
• Security engineering (SIEM, EDR, XDR, SOAR)
• Ensure SLAs, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance across all projects.
• Build partnerships with OEMs (e.g. CrowdStrike, Fortinet, SentinelOne, Microsoft,etc.).

Product Development

• Oversee the development of AI-driven products such as:
• Auto-triage systems for cybersecurity incidents
• AI-enhanced security operation centers (SOC)
• Intelligent cyber-insurance pricing engines
• AI advisors for SMB cyber resilience

Team & Operations

• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of analysts, engineers, delivery managers and consultants.
• Set up and manage internal delivery processes, playbooks, and customer success metrics.
• Contribute to hiring, training, and capability development. Client & Ecosystem Engagement
• Represent Mitigata at industry forums, webinars, and customer briefings.
• Engage with CISOs, CTOs, and audit heads to position Mitigata as a trusted MSS partner.
• Collaborate with insurance and compliance teams to deliver bundled protection (cybersecurity + coverage).

Key Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with proven success in MSS or SOC leadership roles.
• Experience managing both technical delivery and enterprise sales.
• Strong understanding of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, vulnerability management, and security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, ISO
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to present to C-level executives and close enterprise deals. Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience scaling MSSP services in a high-growth environment.
• Familiarity with IRDAI regulations, RBI cyber guidelines, and sector-specific security mandates.
• Exposure to insurance-linked cybersecurity or liability risk frameworks.
