Role: GTM and GA Specialist

Location: Gurgaon, Bangalore

Client Domain: Automobile

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of analytics events across website and app ecosystems (iOS and Android).
  • Design and maintain event taxonomy, naming conventions, and parameter structures aligned with business goals.
  • Configure, deploy and validate tags, triggers, and variables in Google Tag Manager (GTM/Web & Server-side) or equivalent tag management systems.
  • Implement and test SDK-based tracking for apps (Firebase, Segment, Adjust, or equivalent).
  • Collaborate with Product, Development and Marketing teams to define tracking requirements and data layer specifications.
  • Conduct thorough QA and debugging of event implementations using tools like GA Debugger, Charles Proxy, Firebase DebugView, or Postman.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality and accuracy of events flowing into analytics platforms (GA4, BigQuery, Mixpanel, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies between backend systems, app/web data, and analytics reports.
  • Support conversion funnel analysis, attribution, and campaign tracking through precise event instrumentation.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in event-based tracking for websites and mobile apps.
  • Deep knowledge of GA4, Firebase and GTM (web & app containers).
  • Hands-on experience with app SDKs (Firebase, Segment, Adjust, AppsFlyer, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of data layer architecture and implementation.
  • Proficiency in debugging tools (Charles Proxy, GA Debugger, Firebase DebugView).
  • Understanding of UTM structures, attribution models, and funnel e-commerce - tracking.
