Role Description

Position: IT Manager (Chennai)Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • Strong
    leadership experience
    managing large development teams (50+ members).
  • Proven track record in
    setting up and scaling offshore IT teams
    .
  • Experience in
    people management
    ,
    talent acquisition

    retention
    of top IT professionals.
  • Skilled in establishing and optimizing
    IT processes
    for
    efficiency
    and
    scalability
    .
  • In-depth understanding of the
    Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
    ,
    DevOps
    ,
    Cloud technologies
    , and
    Security best practices
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    modern architectures
    , including
    microservices
    ,
    CI/CD pipelines
    , and
    Agile methodologies
    .
  • Strong technical knowledge across
    C#, .NET, Java
    ,
    networking
    , and
    security domains
    .
  • Excellent
    interpersonal and communication skills
    for effective coordination with the main office IT leadership.
  • Proven ability to
    manage stakeholder expectations
    and foster
    cross-functional collaboration
    .
  • Experience managing
    distributed/global teams
    and aligning across
    multiple time zones
    .
  • Strong
    analytical and problem-solving abilities
    to address operational and strategic challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute
    strategic plans
    for the
    Centre of Excellence (COE)
    IT Department.
  • Implement
    new strategies and
    optimize
    existing processes to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Recruit and onboard
    key roles to strengthen the IT department.
  • Collaborate with
    Heads of Departments (HODs)
    to plan, prioritize, and oversee major IT initiatives and projects.
  • Work closely with the
    IT Director
    and main office
    HODs
    to ensure alignment with global objectives and standards.
