Position Summary

The Head of Information Technology is responsible for leading the IT strategy, operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital innovation across the organization. This role ensures that technology systems are secure, efficient, stable, and aligned with organizational goals. The position also oversees IT teams, vendor relationships, and implementation of new technologies that support ministry, administration, media, and prayer tower operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the organization's long-term IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead the IT department—including software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and support teams.
  • Drive digital transformation, automation, and modernization initiatives.

2. Infrastructure & Network Management

  • Oversee IT infrastructure, servers, cloud systems, networks, and backup facilities.
  • Ensure 24/7 uptime for essential systems across all centers and prayer towers.
  • Manage network architecture and performance optimization across locations.

3. Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Implement cybersecurity policies, risk mitigation strategies, and incident response plans.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and security awareness trainings.

4. Software Development & Application Management

  • Oversee development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal applications and ERP systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for software upgrades, integrations, and bug fixes.
  • Ensure alignment between technical solutions and user requirements.

5. IT Operations & Support

  • Manage IT helpdesk, troubleshooting workflows, and user support.
  • Create SOPs, IT policies, and documentation for smooth operations.
  • Monitor system availability, performance, and timely issue resolution.

6. Vendor & Asset Management

  • Manage contracts, procurement, and performance of IT vendors and service providers.
  • Oversee IT assets, inventory, licensing, and AMC renewals.

7. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare and manage the IT budget with optimal resource allocation.
  • Control IT expenses while ensuring high-quality technology service delivery.

8. Team Management

  • Guide, mentor, and build a high-performing IT team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and enable continuous training & development.
