Job Description:

Experience 10 to 12 Years. Should have knowledge of complete MEP works including review of tenders and MEP BOQ's . PMC (Project Management Consultancy) experience is must.

SCOPE OF ROLE

This position will be responsible managing complete MEP related co-ordination and execution of the assigned project.

Additionally, he should able to lead the industrial project.

LEVEL OF AUTHORITY

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.

Responsible for setting own project/team deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL)

Internal & External Clients

ACCOUNTABILITIES

 Actively engage in initial design development of MEP Services, and assess constructability of the design.

 Review legal and statutory compliance of design and follow up on obtaining approvals in time.

 Co-ordinate with all disciplines of Services Design

 Ensure Contractors submit shop drawings and obtain approval

 Ensure conditions of approvals are implemented at site during execution in a timely and sequential manner.

 Monitor the execution of services work as per the drawings, specification in line with schedule and quality.

 Provide value addition in the selection of vendors & local material supply vendors in line with the agreed procurement process with the Client

 Responsible for installation, testing and commissioning of equipment's related to all service (Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing, Fire-fighting)

 Manage handovers, ensuring that all works are complete as per vendor contracts, receipt of all relevant documents like manuals and test certificates, as built drawings

 Initiate Training to taking over team through Contractor, Consultants and by C&W team.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

 10 to 12 years in the field execution of construction projects working with Developer/PMC

 Candidate should be capable of handling an internal team of 8 to 10

 Should have leadership Skills to lead the project and coordinate with client / all stakeholder (Consultant/ Contractor)

 Should have prior experience of racking in the Construction Projects

 Well versed with Project costing and execution of the Construction projects.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

B E - Electrical or Mechanical.

Prior industrial related experience is a must.

Skills: Should have completed at least 1 to 2 projects in industrial project at lead role from end to end.

Supervisory:

 Supervise progress of works in site at regular intervals

 May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to co-workers/team.

 May coordinate work and assign tasks.

Communication:

 Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

 Strong organizational and analytical skills.

 Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

 Ability to effectively present information.

Financial Knowledge:

 Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.

 Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

Reasoning Ability:

 Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret documents.

 Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.

 Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

Other:

 Good skills with project management scheduling software (MSP) and Microsoft Office Suite.

 Should have experience in managing team of labour with more than 100 in number. Ability to guide the labour team to interact with other disciplines of work.

Required Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech Mech or BE Mech) ,Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech EEE or BE EEE)
