Role & responsibilities

  • Production Planning
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts and orders.
  • Plan manpower, machinery, and material requirements to meet production targets.
  • Production Control
  • Monitor the production process to ensure timely completion of jobs.
  • Track WIP (Work-in-Progress) and resolve bottlenecks or delays.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Material & Inventory Management
  • Coordinate with the purchase department to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
  • Optimize inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Maintain records of raw material, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Coordination & Communication
  • Act as a bridge between production, quality, procurement, and sales teams.
  • Communicate plan changes and production updates to concerned departments.
  • Process Improvement
  • Identify areas of delay, waste, or inefficiency and suggest corrective actions.
  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on production status, capacity utilization, and efficiency.
  • Analyze production data to improve forecasting and scheduling accuracy.
  • Compliance & Standards
  • Ensure production operations comply with company policies, ISO standards, and customer requirements.

Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
