Role & responsibilities
- Procure commodities like Raw Materials, Consumables, Chemicals & paint including managing Import Purchases.
- Develop vendors, negotiate costs, and coordinate logistics.
- Plan purchases in line with production schedules.
- Control inventory, ensure timely material availability, and monitor wastage.
- Operate SAP/TCS for PO creation, material movement, and schedule management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth material flow and uphold supplier quality standards.
Preferred candidate profile
- B.E. / Diploma holders with over 8 years of experience in purchase and materials management.
- Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of import documentation and compliance is advantageous.
