Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our field

support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical assistance

across various client locations, ensuring optimal performance of IT hardware, software, and

networking systems.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Site Technical Support: Respond to and resolve hardware, software, and networking

issues at client locations, ensuring minimal downtime.

Installation & Configuration: Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and other

peripherals, ensuring compliance with company standards.

Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic network issues, including LAN/WAN

connectivity, VPN, and DNS/DHCP problems.

Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and maintenance of IT equipment to

prevent potential issues.

User Training: Provide end-users with training on hardware and software usage, promoting

best practices and security awareness.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of issues, solutions, and equipment inventory to

facilitate efficient support and reporting.

Collaboration: Work closely with the internal IT team and third-party vendors to escalate

and resolve complex issues.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related

field.

Experience: 25 years of hands-on experience in desktop support or a similar role,

preferably in a field support capacity.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.

Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

Note: Candidate Should have Two-Wheeler, should be ready to give field support
