Role Description:

Talented Software Engineer Backend to join our dynamic team in India , to develop innovative software solutions on large scale enterprise level fr a modern German life insurance platform.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for IT systems and IT projects in the area of cloud based runoff platform for German life insurance
  • Independent analysis of business requirements and technical procedures
  • Creation of business and technical rough and detailed concepts
  • Development, testing, technical and business implementation of IT systems using modern methods, techniques and processes in a professional manner

Key Competencies & Skills required

Technical Skills:

  • Domain knowledge of Java, CI/CD, Enterprise Bus

Nice to have:

  • Updated on latest insurance market trends and the relevant business processes. Assess the impact of market development on requirements engineering.
  • Identifies improvement potentials in the area of requirements engineering and promotes ideas for change.
  • Shows a clear view on future customer needs and translates customer demands into respective IT requirements

Behavioral Skills:

  • Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to changing requirements
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options
  • Ability to understand broader business issues

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Previous Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science /Engineering/Information Technology
  • Candidate with non-computer science degree must have minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • MBA in IT / Insurance/Finance can also apply for Requirements Engineer and Test Engineer role.

Years Experience & Knowledge:

  • 3 years experience in software development o Good analysing skills o Good understanding of processes and structures
  • Urge to understand what the systems are meant for and how critical the correctness of the numbers are.
  • Understanding the structure of requirements and what is needed in order for developers to know what the business needs
