VMC Programmer

Preferred candidate should have 6+ experience in very strong knowledge in 3D CNC programming in Mastercam/Powermill for precision components manufacturing for Aerospace, Medical Industry.

Responsibilities for CNC Programmer

Technical Roles

  • Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with the drawings.
  • Use computer software Mastercam/Power mill to model cutting paths and program for 3-Axis and 4-Axis machines.
  • Load 4 machines with programs for 3 shifts running.
  • Perform inline quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
  • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
  • Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
  • Should be positive at work and professional attitude is expected.
  • Should be available to work weekends and overtime as and when required.

Supervisory Responsibility

--Supervise the operators and guide them with optimum machine setting and operations.
