In this role you will…
- Act as a communications advisor to stakeholders and contribute to the overall health of the centre as a member of leadership team
- Lead and execute all aspects of internal communications and enable the engagement strategy for the HBS India Capability Centre
- Support the India Capability Centre Head by leading on driving communications and engagement as HBS evolves into a multifunctional business services entity.
- Inform, frame and co-design detailed communication plans for the India Capability Centre that clearly articulate the change journey to all levels of the team, ensuring clarity, engagement, and positive reception, and that helps in landing change positively.
- Working in partnership with the Communications Leads in other HBS centres, drive employee engagement through aligned, impactful and effective storytelling to drive one HBS culture.
- Develop and deliver compelling colleague engagement campaigns to build pride and belief in Haleon and our company culture and to support business objectives.
- Work closely with key partners in business, change and communication – both at the group level and in various business units/ functions, as required, and aligned to the wider Global Internal Communications and Engagement strategy.
- Work in partnership with the APAC Employer Brand team to support consistent and engaging campaigns which build our reputation as an employer of choice.
- Collaborating closely with local leaders, the Communications Manager will provide expert advice on communications and engagement, aiming to ensure that the wider HBS and involved teams and colleagues are excited, engaged, and well-prepared to advance the HBS strategy.
- Create a wide range of internal communications content and tools that are relevant to the broader business and can be used/tailored across each of the HBS Centres.
- Ensure robust measurement and evaluation of communications and campaigns to drive ongoing improvements and deliver against set goals and outcomes.
- Drive employee advocacy through social channels; liaise with industry bodies to identify opportunities to position Haleon as an employer of choice and build brand presence
Qualifications, skills and experience:
Motivated by our mission and passionate about delivering everyday health with humanity, you will enjoy complex, ambiguous problem-solving and face-into execution challenges with a can-do attitude.
- Experience working in a Healthcare/FMCG/global matrixed organisation. Prior exposure to top tier multinational companies desirable
- Experience in a Global Business Services environment ideal.
- Strong knowledge of and significant previous experience of internal communications and engagement.
- A deep understanding of change communications, with strong knowledge of how to affect transformation and culture change in a complex and fast-moving organisation across multiple geographies and cultures.
- Experience of developing and delivering internal communications and engagement strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills with a proven ability to operate in an advisory capacity with all levels to achieve good outcomes.
- Ability to build strong networks and relationships.
- Excellent project management skills and judgement, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a flair for writing engaging copy.
- 12-15 years of experience
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- A bachelor's degree is mandatory; a qualification or certification in communications is preferred.
- Internal communication and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Experience with a variety of information systems and data/information archiving.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Leadership acumen of influencing functions on the communications strategy
Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA or Master's degree.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a self-structured, project-based environment.
