About the Role

The Enterprise Security Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the security of software
products, collaborating with development teams, and implementing best practices to protect
against threats. Designing and implementing tools to automate security processes.

What will you do
● The role necessitates excellent communication and organisational leadership abilities.
● Network security architecture and its development are both important to understand.
● Wireless security, such as routers, switches, and VLAN security, is something that everyone should be aware of.
● DNS security principles such as routing, authentication, VPN,
● proxy services, and DDOS mitigation technology are all covered.

● You must investigate the latest security standards, recent security systems, and renew authentication protocols.
● You have to make sure that all workers follow the necessary corporate security policies and procedures that are defined, developed, implemented, and maintained for a seamless workflow.
● You are also responsible for creating standards for all IT assets, such as routers, firewalls, LANs, WANs, VPNs, and other network devices.
● You must determine their efficacy and efficiency.
● Enhances security team accomplishments and competencies by planning the delivery of solutions and answering technical questions.
● Plans, researches, and designs security architecture for IT systems.
● Develops, reviews, and approves installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and related network devices.
● Determines security protocols by evaluating business strategies and requirements.
● Responds to, and investigates, security incidents and provides thorough post-event analyses.
● Develops project timelines for ongoing system upgrades.
● Reviews system security measures and implements necessary enhancements.
● Conducts regular tests and monitoring of network security.

What will you need
● Educational Background: Engineering degree in Computer Science, Network Security, or a related field.
● Certification: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification is required.
● Expertise in Security Measures: In-depth knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), network access controls, and network segmentation.
● Experience with Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows, Linux, and MacOS environments.
● Understanding of Security Frameworks: Familiarity with ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks is essential.
● Third-Party Auditing Skills: Ability to conduct thorough third-party audits and assessments.
● Cloud Risk Assessment: Experience in cloud risk assessment methodologies and best practices.
● IT Risk & Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of IT risks, cybersecurity, and computer operating systems.
● Advanced Security Protocols: Expertise in security protocols, cryptography, and general security practices.
