DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard. Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Promote interdependence by looking out for one another. Correct hazards within your control and capabilities. Recognize how your work may impact the environment and work to minimize the negative impact. Engage in HSE Training. Quality Applies high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship. Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis. Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments. Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system. Follows all process documentation and quality procedures. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Performs quality inspections. Delivery Fully proficient performing skilled activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities. Instructs and coaches others and acts as an informal resource for team members with less capability. Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals. Work with peers and support staff to: Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints Solve problems and improve processes Participate in continuous improvement activities Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements. Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience details : 7 to 9 years of experience in tool design area.

Relevant experience in Tool Design area (Jigs fixture design/SPM design/Tackles Design/Skid Design/Special equipment design Etc.).Adequate hands on work experience in working on design requirement for Manufacturing processes, Machine Tools, Assembly Tooling, SPM's , Fixtures, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems etc.

Responsibilities:

• Should be able to do tool design activity independently.
• Need to deal with various initiators/stake holders to understand requirements in detail and address theme on priority independently.
• Should be able to work on drafting of SPMs/ Jigs/Fixture/Lifting tackles/Engine Shipping Skids etc.
• Should be able to resolve & support tool room team for effective deployment of new tools.
• on time compliance to Support various initiatives like HSE / Kaizen / Six sigma / Cost reduction / productivity improvements etc.

Skills / Competencies:

• Preferably should be Engineering Diploma (Mechanical or Production)
• Computer proficiency in CREO 2.0, AUTOCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel & Power point.
• Sound knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, GD&T & Materials etc.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Product design knowledge
• Oracle transaction knowledge.
