Vaani AI Research is advancing the field of Voice AI by developing next-generation, human-like conversational infrastructure and foundational speech model. We aim to shift ~35% of today's digital system interactions from GUI to Voice and we are committed to redefining the voice AI landscape with cutting-edge technology and research initiatives.

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a System Programmer specializing in Realtime Voice Systems (C/C++/Rust), based in HSR Layout, Bengaluru. The System Programmer will be responsible for real-time voice application development, optimizing algorithms and system performance, working with voice processing technologies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. The role involves debugging, testing, and maintaining high-performance code while ensuring the seamless integration of AI-powered systems.

Professional And Technical Prowess:

  • Deep proficiency in modern C++ and/or Rust (17/20) and low-level system programming, with a focus on performance-critical application development.
  • Fundamental understanding of real-time systems, low-latency programming, and optimization techniques for voice systems.
  • Expertise in network programming (TCP/IP, UDP) and kernel-bypass technologies like Sockets Direct Protocol.
  • Strong command of multithreading, concurrency, and lock-free data structures to ensure maximum system throughput and efficiency.
  • Experience with high-scale data processing pipelines and Big Data frameworks that facilitate the integration of machine learning outputs for execution.
