Job Description – In-House Security Guard

Position: In-House Security Guard

Department: Security

Location: Company Premises

Reporting To: Security Supervisor / Admin Manager

Role Summary:

The In-House Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the company premises, employees, customers, and company assets. The role includes monitoring entry/exit points, patrolling, handling emergencies, and ensuring proper discipline inside the premises.

Key Responsibilities:1. Access Control

  • Monitor entry and exit of staff, visitors, and vendors.
  • Check ID cards, visitor passes, and maintain entry records.
  • Ensure no unauthorized person enters the premises.

2. Surveillance

  • Monitor CCTV cameras and report any suspicious activity.
  • Regular patrolling of all floors, parking areas, and sensitive zones.

3. Safety & Emergency Handling

  • Respond promptly to alarms, fire, accidents, or emergencies.
  • Follow evacuation procedures during fire or safety drills.
  • Report hazards or unsafe conditions immediately.

4. Asset Protection

  • Prevent theft, misuse, or damage of company property.
  • Check bags, materials, and goods coming in/out (as per SOP).
  • Ensure proper locking and shutting down of company areas after closing hours.

5. Discipline & Support

  • Maintain discipline among staff and visitors.
  • Assist in crowd control during peak hours or events.
  • Support HR/Admin in handling conflicts or incidents.

6. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain daily logbooks and incident reports.
  • Report security breaches to the Supervisor/Management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10th pass or equivalent.
  • Basic communication skills (Hindi/English).
  • Physically fit and alert.
  • Experience in security field preferred.
  • Knowledge of fire safety, and security protocols.

Work Conditions:

  • Rotational shifts (Day/Night).
  • Standing/patrolling for long hours.
  • Indoor and outdoor duties as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9, ₹12,000.00 per month
