*What you'll be doing…*
The MarTech team of Product & Marketing Org leverages AI/ML, Pega Customer Decisioning Hub technology, and agile software development to enhance customer and sales representative experiences across engagement systems. As part of the MarTech Pega Decisioning team, responsibilities include designing and implementing Pega-based solutions to optimize customer experience. This role involves collaboration with global teams in the USA and India, including product owners, Pega developers, architects, data scientists, front-end team members, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Key duties include developing decisioning and recommendation strategies for personalization and utilizing data science/decisioning science skills to build and continuously optimize Next Best Experience (NBx) logic.

Key Responsibilities Include
Local Functional/Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME):

  • Develop a deep understanding of Verizon Business, customer-used applications, and call center operations.
  • Partner with US counterparts and the Global Technology Solutions (GTS) team to understand the design and architecture of solutions.

Solution Implementation

  • End-to-end analysis, build, optimization & execution of NBx strategies for key customer engagements
  • Stakeholder with business/channel teams to ensure improvements in personalization e.g offer costs, improved sales funnel, increased product attach etc.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with geographically diverse teams in the US and India.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the India team, providing updates to US counterparts and escalating issues as needed.
  • Present to senior onshore and offshore leaders and stakeholders

Continuous Learning

  • Stay current on the latest advancements and best practices in Pega tools and technologies.
  • Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster innovation and technical excellence.

Mentoring & Leadership

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team
  • Engage the team and enable them thru needed tools & accesses

You'll Need To Have

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Six or more years of proven work experience as a data scientist or a marketing technology experience with Pega or similar tools
  • Hands-on expertise using Pega CDH as a Decisioning Strategy (LDA certification strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and/Or NoSQL databases.
  • Team management experience.
  • Executive grade presentation skills with emphasis on storytelling and cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and operations to coordinate adoption of projects
  • Hands on experience with Adobe Analytics, Tableau and other reporting and analytics tools
  • Ability to identify, trouble shoot, and resolve problems across the digital ecosystem.
  • Exceptional communication skills; written, oral and presentation.
  • Managed products from ideation through development to launch.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Understanding/Experience MarTech Tools - Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics/Marketo
  • 4-6 years experience in Marketing/CX space, preferably B2B Telco
  • Convey your ideas in compelling and persuasive ways to a variety of audiences.
  • Led a team to achieve goals.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines in a highly-complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experiencing leading product teams, especially cross-functional teams, with ability to execute on multiple assignments independently and proactively.
  • Mentor team members, foster their growth, and identify areas for skill enhancement
  • Innovation mindset
