**Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Project Commissioning & Machine Installation)

Aout the Role**:

We are looking for a skilled **Mechanical Engineer** to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery and equipment in various projects . The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that machines are installed and commissioned efficiently, safely, and according to the company's and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • **Project Planning & Execution**:

  • Lead and execute the mechanical installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment for projects.

  • Prepare detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

  • **Installation & Commissioning**:

  • Supervise the installation of machines, ensuring proper alignment, assembly, and calibration.

  • Commission machinery and perform test runs to ensure they meet performance specifications.

  • Troubleshoot any issues during the installation and commissioning phases.

  • **Coordination with Teams**:

  • Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to oversee the delivery and installation of equipment.

  • **Technical Support & Maintenance**:

  • Provide technical support during the operational phase by diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues with installed machinery.

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machines to ensure optimal performance.

  • **Documentation & Reporting**:

  • Maintain proper records and documentation of the installation and commissioning processes.

  • Prepare project reports, technical documentation, and maintenance logs.

  • **Safety & Compliance**:

  • Ensure that all installations comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Ensure machinery and equipment are compliant with industry regulations and standards.

  • **Training & Handover**:

  • Provide training and guidance to operators and maintenance teams on machine operation and safety procedures.

  • Handover the completed project to the operations team with detailed instructions for proper use and maintenance.

**Qualifications**:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience in machine installation, commissioning, and maintenance, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machine design, and industrial equipment.

  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

  • Hands-on experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.

  • Proficient in using CAD software and other engineering tools.

  • Familiarity with project management and scheduling software.

  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.

**Preferred Skills**:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and project management tools.

  • Experience in handling turnkey projects is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
