Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic Mechanical Maintenance Manager to lead and manage the mechanical maintenance operations of our Stainless Steel Wire Division at Bhuj. The role ensures maximum equipment uptime, efficient preventive maintenance, and smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical equipment.
- Lead and guide maintenance teams to achieve zero unplanned downtime.
- Ensure timely maintenance of wire drawing machines, furnaces, pickling lines, and other plant equipment.
- Monitor spares inventory and coordinate with vendors for procurement and services.
- Implement safety, reliability, and cost optimization measures.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modifications of new/existing machinery.
- Maintain maintenance records and reports as per ISO/TPM standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance (preferably in the SS/wire/metal/ industry).
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
- Leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills are essential.
