Job Title: Sales Officer – Joy Ice Cream

Location: Ernakulam

Reports To: Area Sales Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and target-driven Sales Officer to join Joy Ice Cream's sales team in Ernakulam. The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining distributor and retailer relationships, ensuring product availability, and supporting brand visibility across the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly sales and distribution targets for Joy Ice Cream in the assigned area.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
  • Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and availability in retail outlets.
  • Regularly visit the market to monitor sales performance, competitor activities, and trade feedback.
  • Support implementation of trade promotions, marketing campaigns, and seasonal sales drives.
  • Ensure timely collections and adherence to company credit policies.
  • Provide daily/weekly sales reports and market insights to the Area Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce/Marketing or equivalent (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • 1–4 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in ice cream, dairy, or frozen foods.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel within Ernakulam district.
  • Knowledge of the local market and trade channels is an added advantage.
