Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled PingFederate Specialist to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and managing enterprise-level Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using the PingFederate platform. You will be responsible for designing and deploying robust Single Sign-On (SSO), federation, and API security solutions to meet complex business and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement secure identity federation solutions using PingFederate (acting as both Identity Provider and Service Provider).
  • Configure and customize PingFederate for Single Sign-On (SSO) across various applications utilizing protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
  • Integrate PingFederate with existing identity stores (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP, databases) and various third-party Service Providers.
  • Develop and implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and adaptive access policies within the PingFederate environment.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices for federated access, API security, and access management principles.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with security architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex authentication, authorization, and connectivity issues related to PingFederate and its integrations.
Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience specifically designing, configuring, and supporting PingFederate in an enterprise environment.
  • Deep practical knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC) standards and protocols.
  • Proficient in integrating PingFederate with standard identity repositories (e.g., AD/LDAP).
  • Experience with API security, including using PingFederate as an Authorization Server and implementing Token Exchange flows.
  • Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) and scripting/automation techniques relevant to PingFederate configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and governance processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).

Additional Information 

Role Type: Freelancer/ Part timer for 3 months or more

Location: Remote

Working Hours: Sunday To Thursday - 4 hours daily
