Kalvium is a startup with a mission to make education more relevant and engaging worldwide. The team is seeking highly skilled and passionate Academic Mentors to contribute to this mission and enhance educational outcomes. The flagship offering is Indias top Work Integrated Program in Computer Science Engineering, available at more than 17 partner universities in India.

Academic Mentors will be responsible for guiding the learning journey and ensuring industry alignment for undergraduate students in this four-year program. Mentors are supported by an industry-aligned curriculum and world-class experiential learning pedagogy. There is robust pre-joining and continuous learning in mentor essentials (communication and delivery), functional skills (programming, full-stack development, and industry-oriented CS skills), and academic/industry process basics.

Key responsibilities include handling live and asynchronous mentorship sessions on campus based on Kalviums framework, owning student learning outcomes and experiences with hands-on technical and project guidance, mentoring students individually and in groups to promote growth, evaluating assignments and assessments, and giving constructive feedback. Academic Mentors engage students in problem solving, coding skills, live projects, competitions, and hackathons. Coordination of campus industry linkage sessions, interview preparations, tech talks, and internship oversight are also part of the role. Upholding professional standards as set by Kalvium is expected.

The role requires a 12-month on-campus commitment at one of Kalviums program locations, according to the candidate's preferred state. Programs operate across 17 campuses in 7 states, with mentors able to indicate their preferred location during registration. Work timings are six days a week from 8:45 am to 6:15 pm.

Qualification

Master's degree M.E / M. Tech in Computer Science//IT/Robotics/AI/ML/Data Science and

Cyber Security and related branches.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Technical Requirements: Basic algorithmic coding knowledge in any one of the programming

languages Python, C, C++, Java script.

What we offer:

Stipend for the 12 Months of Internship:- Rs. 15000/Month

Pay and Benefits for the Full-time Role after successful completion of the Post graduate degree

INR 5,00,000/- Annual CTC (INR 4,50,000/- Fixed + INR 50,000/- Performance linked Pay)

INR 1,00,000/- as PhD benefits with facilitation to register for the program in the University
