Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced
GCP DevOps Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud automation, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure management. This role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GCP, and modern DevOps practices, as well as the ability to collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters (GKE/AKS) and deployment strategies.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker and Docker Compose.
  • Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP for scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Write and maintain automation scripts (Shell, Groovy, Helm charts) to streamline processes.
  • Set up and manage monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, or AppDynamics.
  • Perform Linux system administration in enterprise environments (OAT, NAS, NetBackup, Puppet).
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve release and deployment workflows.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, GCP DevOps, Jenkins CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible
    .
  • Proficient in scripting languages:
    Groovy, Shell, Python
    ;
    Java scripting
    is a plus.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools:
    Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics
    .
  • Version control expertise:
    Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
    .
  • Strong
    Linux administration
    and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with
    Ansible Tower
    , configuration management, and automation frameworks.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to hybrid cloud environments (GKE/AKS).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure backup tools such as NAS and NetBackup.
  • Knowledge of
    Groovy pipelines, YAML, and GitOps practices
    .
  • Relevant certifications in
    GCP or DevOps
    .

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    .
