Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation and finalisation of financial statements for Canadian entities under Canadian GAAP / IFRS (ASPE knowledge is a plus).

2. Support senior accountants in posting routine adjustment entries (e.g., accruals, prepayments, depreciation).

3. Perform reconciliations for general ledger accounts (bank, AR/AP, intercompany, etc.).

4. Help maintain supporting schedules, working papers, and documentation for financial statements.

5. Coordinate with senior team members and external tax advisors to ensure compliance with Canadian corporate tax requirements.

6. Participate in monthly/quarterly closing processes by assisting in data entry and report generation.

7. Contribute to improving accounting processes and documentation practices.
