Job Summary

Responsible for managing accounting operations and financial controls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight across US entity. Reporting to the US Finance Controller.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all U.S. accounting and month end close processes and co-ordinating and collaborating with teams across – be it Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, FP&A and treasury.
  • Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; track variances and highlight trends. Maintaining the required controls on monthly and quarterly basis to ensure accounts are audit ready.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards (GAAP), tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Design, implement, and strengthen internal controls and financial policies, manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit processes; provide documentation and follow-up support. Handling end to end audits and ensuring timely clearance and completion of statutory audit.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team; oversee hiring, training, performance, and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor and mitigate financial risks, recommending solutions to optimize financial stability, implement and drive efficiencies and automation.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant or CPA Degree, 3-5 years of post-qualification experience
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, U.S. tax rules, and regulatory frameworks
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and understanding of budgeting, variance and trend analysis.
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving acumen and attention to detail
  • Experience working with global financial and regulatory practices is an advantage
