Job Summary: We are looking for a Semi-Qualified CA with a strong foundation in financial accounting, risk assessment, and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in risk analysis, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & Risk Assessment
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of sales, expenses, and financial reports using Zoho Books.
• Investigate unexpected changes in asset, liability, or equity accounts.
• Identify and rectify negative balances in fixed assets, bank accounts, and debtors.
• Assess discrepancies in advance payments vs. invoices and accounts payable vs. receivable.
• Evaluate the classification of CapEx vs. OpEx for fixed assets.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of unrecorded expenses, accruals, and provisions.
2. Compliance & Taxation
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory regulations.
• Assist in internal audits and verify compliance with internal control procedures.
3. Miscellaneous Tasks
• Support financial reporting and risk control initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Skills: Education:
• CA-Intermediate or equivalent qualification.
Experience:
• 1-3 years in accounting, finance, or risk assessment
Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Working knowledge of Zoho Books, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
