Job Description

We are seeking a skilled
Aeroelasticity and FEA Engineer
to support the Team Leader in performing
structural dynamics, flutter, and aeroelastic response analysis
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
finite element modeling (FEM)
,
aerodynamic coupling
, and
aeroelastic analysis
workflows using industry-standard tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation, verification, and cleanup of
    Finite Element Models (FE Models)
    ensuring proper mass distribution as per data requirements.
  • Support
    Free Vibration Analysis
    and assist in tabulating
    natural frequencies and mode shapes
    .
  • Generate
    2D aerodynamic models
    and create/verify
    splines
    for aeroelastic coupling.
  • Support the
    flutter analysis process
    using
    Nastran
    and
    ZAERO
    .
  • Perform
    post-processing
    tasks including generation of
    V-g/V-f plots
    and
    flutter margin plots
    .
  • Assist in correlating analysis results with
    Ground Vibration Test (GVT)
    data and updating models.
  • Contribute to
    technical documentation and project reports
    within project timelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
    B.Tech (Aerospace/Mechanical) with M.Tech or
    minimum 1+ years of experience
    , first class from a reputed university/institution.
  • Experience:
    If no M.Tech, at least 1 year of relevant hands-on FEA experience required.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Basic understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
    principles.
  • Basic working knowledge of
    Nastran/Patran
    for structural and aeroelastic analysis.
  • Basic understanding of
    Hypermesh
    for pre-processing and mesh setup.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
