Business Analyst-Salesforce

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing, and implementing Salesforce solutions, and providing ongoing support to ensure the system meets the needs of our organization.

Deliverables:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, objectives, and challenges.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather comprehensive business requirements.
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and use cases.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within existing processes.

Solution Design and Documentation:

• Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications.
• Design Salesforce solutions that align with business goals and best practices.
• Create detailed documentation including process flows, data models, and user stories.
• Work closely with Salesforce developers and Users to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business needs.

Configuration and Customization:

• Configure Salesforce platform features, including but not limited to custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and reports.
• Collaborate with developers to design and implement custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other technologies.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure quality and accuracy of configurations and customizations.

User Training and Support:

• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to educate end-users on Salesforce functionality and best practices.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing inquiries, issues, and enhancement requests in a timely manner.
• Foster user adoption and ensure effective utilization of Salesforce capabilities.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:

• Liaise between business stakeholders, IT teams, and Salesforce administrators to facilitate communication and alignment.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce functionality and capabilities, providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Stay abreast of Salesforce platform updates, releases, and industry trends.
• Proactively identify opportunities for system optimization, automation, and innovation.
• Lead or contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing Salesforce functionality and driving business value.

This role encompasses gathering and analysing business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and designing Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives.

The Salesforce Business Analyst is responsible for configuring and customizing the Salesforce platform, conducting thorough testing, and providing user training and support to ensure successful adoption. Additionally, they serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, collaborating to drive project success and continuous improvement.

This role also involves project management, quality assurance, documentation, and reporting, as well as staying updated on Salesforce best practices and technologies.

Overall, the Salesforce Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in maximizing the value of Salesforce investments and driving business growth.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field
• Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst certification preferred
• 3+ years of experience working with Salesforce, including configuration, customization, and support
• Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and declarative development tools (e.g., Process Builder, Flow)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
