JOB DESIGNATION – Data Analyst (Mutual Fund Data Management)-Remote

Eligibility:

· Minimum Graduate

· NISM Series V-A: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification.

· NISM-Series XV: Research Analyst Certification.

· NSE's Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM) – Mutual Funds, Capital Markets modules.

· Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA - Level 1) or FRM (Foundational level) for career progression.

· Certifications in Data Analytics/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R).

Experience:

· 0–3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the asset management, banking, or financial services industry.

· MS Excel (advanced functions), SQL.

· Strong knowledge of mutual fund concepts (NAV, AUM, SIP/STP/SWP, fund categories, benchmarks).

· Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.

· Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards (SEBI, AMFI) is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain mutual fund datasets, including NAVs, AUM, portfolio holdings, benchmarks, and performance metrics.
  • Validate and reconcile data feeds from fund accountants, custodians, and market data providers.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal teams, investors, and regulators (SEBI, AMFI, RBI).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and audit requirements in reporting.
  • Automate and streamline data collection, validation, and reporting processes.
  • Track and analyze fund performance, expense ratios, inflows/outflows, and risk indicators.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly/quarterly fund factsheets, investor presentations, and product communication material.
  • Create dashboards and MIS reports for fund managers, sales teams, and senior management.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to improve data pipelines and reporting efficiency.
  • Support website updates, marketing collateral, and investor disclosures with accurate data.
