Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain collections models (e.g., repayment prediction, recovery likelihood, segmentation).
  • Use Python and SQL to analyze delinquency trends and optimize recovery strategies.
  • Develop data-driven customer contact and prioritization strategies.
  • Monitor collections performance (roll rates, promise-to-pay, recovery KPIs).
  • Collaborate with strategy and operations to implement model-driven decisioning.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data science or analytics (preferably in fintech/lending).
  • Expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Experience with collections models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Solid understanding of collections processes and customer repayment behavior.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Prior experience in U.S-based fintech is preferred.
