About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Manager who will act as the first point of contact for student enquiries. The role involves understanding student learning requirements, recommending the right tutor or training institute, and driving successful enrollments. The ideal candidate will be a target-driven sales professional with prior experience in consultative sales, preferably in the EdTech or training sector.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to student enquiries received via the platform (calls, chats, emails).
  • Understand the student's learning objectives, preferences, and constraints.
  • Recommend suitable tutors, trainers, or institutes available on UrbanPro.
  • Drive conversions by counseling students effectively and guiding them through the enrollment process.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently.
  • Build strong relationships with both students and partners to ensure repeat enrollments.
  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, leads, and conversions in the CRM.
  • Work closely with internal teams to provide feedback on student needs and improve offerings.

Skills/Experience Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years in B2C sales, counseling, or inside sales (preferably in EdTech, training, or e-learning).
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and lead management.
  • Target-oriented with a proven record of achieving/enhancing sales KPIs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Customer-first mindset with consultative and empathetic sales approach.
