Job Description: Embedded Engineer - Medical Devices

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Engineer with a strong background in medical device technologies and companion applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and developing embedded components and modules, particularly in hearing aids or wireless headsets, and will contribute to innovative solutions in the medical technology domain.

Mandatory Skills - Embedded C, Embedded C++ , Experience in Medical Devices

Key Responsibilities

  • Review technical specifications and consult with customer units for optimization.
  • Design, develop, and implement software applications.
  • Lead and mentor development teams.
  • Define and enforce development standards and best practices.
  • Apply structured methodologies to meet project and customer requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong consulting background with deep software engineering expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of development methodologies and service management.
  • Hands-on experience with full development toolchains and techniques.
  • Extensive experience in medical device technologies and companion applications.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard operating procedures in MedTech.
  • Proficient in C and C++ programming.
  • Experience with audio codec implementation (floating/fixed point).
  • Deep understanding of audio interfaces within SoCs and Simulink tools.
  • Strong OS concepts and experience with low-power modules.
  • Prior experience working with European stakeholders, including requirement gathering and effort estimation.
  • Good understanding of DNN models and edge deployment tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience designing components/modules for hearing aids or wireless headsets is a plus.
