Role Overview
The Merchandiser – Home Category will be responsible for developing, sourcing, and managing the product range within the
Home Décor and Home Textile
categories. This role requires strong coordination with design, sourcing, and production teams to ensure timely execution, quality assurance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product sourcing, vendor development, and buying for Lifestyle Product (LSP) categories, including Home and Fashion.
• Plan and develop product ranges aligned with market trends, sales data, and business strategy.
• Coordinate with design, quality, production, and logistics teams for timely product development and delivery.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis (Amazon, Etsy, etc.) to identify new trends and opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times to meet cost and margin goals.
• Ensure product listings and descriptions meet online retail standards.
• Monitor sales performance and inventory, suggesting mix adjustments for better profitability.
• Maintain accurate buying records, vendor scorecards, and purchase documentation.

Key Skills

• Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and product tracking dashboards.
• Good trend awareness and product development insight.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in Textile, Fashion, or related field.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in merchandising for Home Décor / Home Textiles / Lifestyle categories.
• Experience in export or e-commerce setups will be an added advantage.
