As a Technical Lead, you will oversee the design and maintenance of scalable software solutions, ensuring efficient service delivery and seamless API integrations to support our global digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the project management team to align our software solutions with business objectives, systems architecture, and organizational standards. Furthermore, you will play a key role in continually enhancing technical standards and best practices for all aspects of deployment and operational processes, guiding the team towards innovative and effective solutions.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for custom application projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with business requirements.
  • Mentor and guide development teams, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Drive technical discussions, make architectural decisions, and ensure alignment with organizational technology strategies.
  • Design, develop, and implement system integrations to streamline business processes, focusing on seamless data flow between applications.
  • Oversee and improve DevOps practices to enhance automation, deployment, and monitoring processes, ensuring efficient and reliable application performance.
  • Architect and develop scalable applications using AWS cloud services, leveraging best practices in cloud-based development and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver robust and innovative solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards throughout the application development and deployment processes.

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience working with technologies in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment

  • At least 3 years of team leadership experience defining/delivering enterprise solutions.

  • Proven experience in leading custom application development projects, with a strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Extensive experience with system integration techniques, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and middleware technologies.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and monitoring frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud development, utilizing services like EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, and IAM.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with the Mendix platform for rapid application development, including deploying and managing Mendix applications.
  • Advanced certifications in AWS, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or similar.
  • Experience in implementing automated testing frameworks to enhance software quality and reliability.
  • A drive for improvement and an inclination to thoughtfully challenge the status quo
