Cashier (Bakery)

Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced Cashier to join our bakery and confectionery team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth billing operations, handle customer transactions efficiently, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the counter.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and maintain records of daily transactions.
• Assist customers with billing queries and promote bakery items when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing counter area.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth customer flow and service.
• Balance cash drawers and generate daily sales reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma or Degree in Commerce/Accounting preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Cashier.(freshers can also apply)
• Experience in a bakery, confectionery, or hotel industry will be a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in billing software/POS systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and accounting knowledge.
• Attention to detail, honesty, and reliability.
