Job Purpose

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Engineer to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role involves working with large datasets from DealCloud and other sources, identifying trends and patterns, and collaborating with visualization and AI teams. A key focus will be supporting Snowflake integration and building scalable data pipelines.

Desired Skills and experience

  • Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
  • 6-8 years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, optimization, and query performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including schema design, data loading, and performance optimization
  • Experience working with DealCloud or similar CRM/data platforms.
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and API integration
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend, or Informatica.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services (e.g., S3, Azure Data Factory, BigQuery).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake architecture.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data security practices.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools for dashboard development and reporting.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and cloud-based data warehousing.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and analytics.
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms like Deal Cloud is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and complex datasets from DealCloud and other enterprise sources.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic decision-making.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for Snowflake and other data platforms.
  • Collaborate with Power BI specialists to ensure seamless data visualization and reporting.
  • Develop and optimize data models and storage solutions using Snowflake.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all stages of the data lifecycle.
  • Automate data workflows and support real-time data processing where applicable.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, product managers, and data scientists.
