Job Description Computer & Data Entry Operator

Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Computer and Data Entry Operator to manage data entry, record keeping, and administrative support tasks. The role involves handling data entry with accuracy, maintaining digital and physical records, generating reports, and assisting in basic computer operations to support smooth office functioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in company databases, spreadsheets, and ERP/CRM systems.
  • • Verify and cross-check data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • • Prepare, organize, and store documents electronically and physically.
  • • Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports from data systems as required.
  • • Manage emails, files, and digital communications related to data entry tasks.
  • • Perform basic computer operations including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet research.
  • • Assist in administrative and clerical tasks when required.
  • • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
  • • Troubleshoot minor computer/software issues or escalate to IT support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • • Minimum 12th Pass; Graduation preferred.
  • • Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, Computer Operator, or similar role.
  • • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management software.
  • • Typing speed of 30–40 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • • Basic knowledge of office equipment (printer, scanner, etc.).
  • • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
