Position Overview-

The Panel Service Personnel will be responsible for on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automation and control panels supplied by Asiatic Traders. The role requires sound knowledge of industrial control systems, quick problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to travel to customer locations for service calls, commissioning, or technical support.

Key Responsibilities-

  • Perform electrical and automation troubleshooting of MCC, PLC, and instrument panels at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and rectify control wiring, I/O faults, and communication issues in PLC-based systems (Siemens / Rockwell).
  • Support customers during system startup, commissioning, and field service visits.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance checks and prepare service reports after every visit.
  • Coordinate with design and project teams for remote technical assistance and feedback.
  • Replace faulty components such as relays, contactors, fuses, and instruments ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Perform loop testing, calibration, and signal verification for sensors, transmitters, and VFDs.
  • Follow company QAP, EHS, and documentation protocols during field operations.
  • Maintain detailed records of site visits, customer interactions, and corrective actions taken.
  • Report recurring issues and recommend improvements in design or field installation practices.

Skills & Competencies-

  • Hands-on experience in control panel wiring and fault diagnosis.
  • Working knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell, or Festo PLC systems (TIA Portal / Connected Components Workbench).
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, analog/digital signals, and 4–20 mA loop systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and loop diagrams.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and reporting.
  • Must be ready for frequent travel and extended site stays when required.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and professional conduct.

Qualification & Experience

  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 2–6 years of experience in field servicing or troubleshooting of industrial panels.
  • Experience in food & beverage, dairy, water treatment, or process automation systems preferred.
  • Candidates with valid two-wheeler license and willingness to travel across India preferred.

Work Environment-

  • Field-based role with customer interaction.
  • Reporting to central service team at Indore office for deployment and coordination.
  • May involve weekend support or emergency visits depending on client needs.
