Qualifications and Skills

  • In-depth understanding of customs compliance practices and the ability to navigate various regulations.
  • Familiarity with trade regulations to ensure conformity with legal standards and minimize risks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Incoterms 2020 for effective global trading operations.
  • Skilled in HTS code classification for accurate and efficient product categorization and tariffs application.
  • Experience working with ERP systems to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiencies.

  • Manage and oversee the import and export operations to ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with customs agents, shipping lines, and forwarders to ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Prepare and review import and export documentation for accuracy and compliance with global standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers, buyers, and companies to facilitate shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant customs regulations and trade laws to minimize business risks.
  • Analyze freight costs, optimize shipping routes, and negotiate with carriers for favorable rates.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international shipping requirements and emerging industry trends.
