Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Python development and backend architecture. This role requires a technical leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates ownership and initiative, and is passionate about building high-quality, scalable systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to both backend and frontend codebases when needed. This is a critical role in ensuring the technical excellence of our products while delivering real business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of progressive experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python programming and well versed in SDLC activities.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, robust, and efficient backend services and applications using Python.
• Demonstrated experience in a lead or senior role, guiding projects or mentoring other engineers.
• Expertise in core Python concepts, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Proven experience with at least one major Python web framework (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Strong understanding and practical experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Designing individual modules, databases (schema design), user interfaces (UI/UX), algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes
• Experience on front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS, , Angular, ) for full-stack contributions.
• Proficiency in designing and interacting with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Python-based software development and backend systems.
• Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and OOP principles.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentorship in technical teams or projects.
• Hands-on experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of relational database systems and SQL.
• Proven experience working with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS or GCP) and containerized deployments using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies and frameworks, with the ability to contribute to full-stack solutions.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
